CORONAVIRUS

IMPORTANT UPDATE

We are currently operating a reduced service.  We are open and working hard.   Please use phone, letterbox, email when you can.

If you have Coronavirus related symptoms but are well and managing, please self-isolate for seven days in line with national guidance.  If you are unwell, or feel you may need hospital assessment, please contact us for advice.  We can not test for coronavirus even if you have symptoms.

You can now access your vaccination status as follows:

People will be able access their Covid-19 Vaccine Status online, by logging on to www.nhsinform.scot/covid19status.

People who have lost or forgotten their username or password will be able to create new ones by selecting 'forgot username' or 'forgot password' options. A Freephone Covid Status Helpline will allow people to get the record posted to them.

The Scottish Government continues to urge a highly cautious approach to international travel, given the risk of new variants. The four UK Chief Medical Officers have said that green-list status should be the exception, rather than the rule, with countries added to the list only where there are very good reasons for doing so.

Registration of New Patients

All Practices in Forfar are now open to new patients   During the Coronavirus pandemic, no Practice is able to deal with anyone wishing to transfer from another neighbouring Practice.  Please be patient with your own Practice as they are doing their utmost to provide services in these difficult times.

Up to Date Patient Contact Information

Please esure your contact details are up to date with our Surgery.  Updating your contact details with your GP automatically updates all systems including NHS Tayside, NHS 24 and Scottish Ambulance Service.
