Appointments

How to make an appointment with a GP or nurse

To make an appointment, please telephone the surgery on 01307 463558. If necessary, someone else can do this for you. (Please do not send requests for appointments by email or letter, as this causes delays.) It is helpful if you can give our trained reception staff an idea of what the issue is when booking the appointment, so that they can identify the appropriate doctor or nurse, and so the clinician is prepared. GP appointments will initially be via telephone - if the doctor feels that it is necessary for you to come in to the surgery in person, they will arrange that with you on the phone call.

Consultation hours are between 08:00 and 18:00 in a flexible manner to match the demand of our patients.

Please be on time for your appointment and be ready to answer telephone appointments at the scheduled time. If you are late or miss the telephone call, the doctors may not be able to see you or call you back and you may be asked to make another appointment.

If you are late for the Practice Nurse you will be seen at the first available opportunity or at the end of surgery, or alternatively you have the option to book another appointment. This will minimise disruption to other patients.

Near to Me Consultations
